STAFF DIRECTORY
Jake (he/him/his) is the Library Director as of July 2024 and has worked in academic and public libraries for the past decade while earning professional educator licenses in Illinois and Iowa. As of December 2026, Jake will finalize his Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa. He currently holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Northern Iowa with an emphasis on the history of the book, specifically the Paperback Revolution of the mid-1900s.

Anni (she/they) is the Collection Services Librarian first hired in September 2023. She obtained her Masters degree in Library Science with an archival emphasis at the University of Maryland, graduating in 2011. She also has a bachelor's degree in American literature from Iowa State University. Anni is primarily focused on collection development, acquisitions, and deaccessions.

Zac (any pronouns) started as a Library Assistant in October 2024 and is has been promoted to Library Programs Coordinator, primarily focused on program development for youth, tweens, and teens. They graduated from Iowa State University in 2017 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, with an emphasis on English literature. In their free time, they enjoy foraging for wild mushrooms at the local parks sprinkled around Eastern Iowa.

Rowan (he/him/his) started in July 2025 as a Library Page and has been promoted to Library Associate. Rowan graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in earth sciences with an emphasis in geology and a minor focus on creative writing and literature. In his free time, Rowan is constantly learning and doing various creative hobbies.
