ACTIVITIES & EVENTS FOR TWEENS & TEENS

For a complete list of activities and events for tweens & teens (12-17 yrs.), please view the All Events Calendar. Otherwise, the items below are continuous activities available throughout the year, including some permanent fixtures.

CLAY & STEM LAB

The Library is hosting a set of two labs: Clay Lab and STEM Lab. Clay Lab invites tweens and tens to get creative and make clay things while watching a claymation classic movie.

Tweens and teens are also invited to build their engineering skills during STEM Lab. Each month, we'll set a new challenge for kids to use basic math and engineering knowledge to build contraptions and gizmos.

These programs are offer once every month with a new theme or challenge.

ANIME CLUB

Tweens and teens are invited to watch some anime and craft together every second Thursday of the month from 3:30-5pm. We'll provide the show and the crafts. Attendees are welcome to bring their current book to the club. We want your opinions to purchase more material for the Library's collection.

Participants are also welcome to simply enjoy the show with some snacks!
