STUDIO & STUDY ROOM USE POLICY
The Library offers a single Study Room at no charge for two-hours at a time, which is available on a first come, first served basis and by appointment. Guests wishing to use the Study Room must check in with Library Staff at the Access Services Desk. The Library is not liable for lost or stolen items. Guests are encouraged to close the door whenever they need to leave the Study Room unattended, but the room has no lock. Guests using the Study Room must abide by the Library’s Acceptable Use policy.
The Study Room doubles as a Studio for creative projects, including use of the Library’s laminator, STEM Cart, and other equipment. The Studio is offered on a first come, first served basis and by appointment. The Studio space and equipment may be used at no charge, but use of supplies for the equipment are charged by the amount used. Because of the equipment present, no food and only lidded, non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the room.
Should any injury or accident occur while using equipment, immediately report to Library Staff, who can provide first aid supplies. An incident report is required if first aid is provided. Surveillance cameras monitor who enters and exits the room.
The room can be reserved three months in advance.
Library Staff reserve the right to limit access to the space and equipment.
