The Library is seeking talented artists with a passion for graphic design to create a new logo that represents the Library, specifically with our new name!
LA PORTE CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY
GUIDELINES
Theme: Create a unique logo that incorporates the world “La Porte City Public Library” and reflects the spirit of the Library as a civic asset for the city
Design Elements: The logo should include a mix of our three primary colors and may include any of our three secondary colors, and the design should use our two fonts
Submission Format: Submissions can be emailed, mailed, or delivered in person to Library Staff
For printed logos, please ensure they are at least 8x8” or larger, so the details can be seen clearly
For digital submissions, please ensure they are high-resolution JPEG or PNG file types; we cannot accept TIFFs

Submission Deadline: Sunday, July 20, 2025
SUBMISSION SELECTION
The community will be invited to select their favorite logo from July 21 through August 6. Based on community feedback, the Board of Trustees will vote on the final logo, which will be immediately incorporated into the Library’s marketing materials! Logos not selected will still be displayed in the Library wherever possible.
